Calo Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Calo (“Calo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), an application developed by Superlike, handles information when you use the app or contact us.

Calorie entries and daily budget

Calo may store your calorie budget, diary entries, optional meal labels, timestamps, settings, and related app state so it can calculate and display your remaining daily calories. Information stored locally is subject to the backup and device settings you choose.

Meal descriptions, photos, and estimates

When you ask Calo to estimate a meal, the description or photo you submit may be processed to produce the requested calorie estimate. This content is used to provide the feature you initiate. Estimates may be inaccurate, and you can review and edit them before saving.

Camera and photo access

Calo may request camera or photo-library access only when you choose to photograph or select a meal image. You can manage these permissions through iOS settings. Disabling access prevents the related photo feature but does not prevent manual calorie entry.

Diagnostics and support

We may receive limited technical information such as app version, device model, operating-system version, crash reports, and performance data to maintain reliability. If you contact us, we may also receive your email address, message, and any details or attachments you voluntarily provide.

How we use and share information

We use information only to provide the calorie budget, diary, and estimation features you request; maintain security and performance; respond to support and privacy requests; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information. Limited information may be processed by service providers that support app functionality under appropriate data-protection obligations, or disclosed when required by law.

Retention and your choices

We retain support communications and technical records only as long as reasonably necessary. You can manage permissions in iOS settings and delete diary information using available app controls. Depending on your location, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you.

Health information and children

Calo is a general wellness tool and is not designed to diagnose or treat a medical condition. Calo is not directed to children below the minimum age required to consent to data processing in their jurisdiction.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Calo, its service providers, or applicable legal requirements change. The revised version will be posted here with an updated effective date.
