Calo Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Calo, an application developed by Superlike. By downloading, accessing, or using Calo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Calo features

Calo may provide a visual daily calorie budget, manual calorie entries, a meal diary, and calorie estimates based on descriptions or photos. Features and compatibility may change and may depend on your device, operating system, permissions, connection, or region.

Estimates are informational

Calorie estimates are approximations and may be incomplete or inaccurate because meals, ingredients, preparation methods, portions, and images vary. You are responsible for reviewing and editing an estimate before saving it and for deciding whether the information is appropriate for your needs.

Not medical or nutritional advice

Calo is a general wellness tool, not a medical device, dietitian, or healthcare service. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition and does not replace advice from a qualified healthcare or nutrition professional. Do not rely on Calo for emergency, clinical, allergy, eating-disorder, or medically prescribed dietary decisions.

Your content and permissions

You retain ownership of meal descriptions and photos you submit. You grant Calo the limited permission necessary to process that content and provide the feature you request. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use submitted content and for configuring device permissions.

Acceptable use

You may not use Calo to violate applicable law or another person’s rights, submit unlawful or harmful content, interfere with the app or its security, introduce malicious code, gain unauthorized access, or reverse engineer, resell, or commercially exploit the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.

Intellectual property

Calo, including its software, design, branding, graphics, and materials provided by us, is owned by or licensed to Superlike and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use the app in accordance with these Terms.

Updates and availability

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, issue updates, or modify device requirements. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, preservation of every entry, compatibility with every device, or the accuracy of calorie estimates.

Disclaimers and liability

Calo is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Superlike and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for health decisions, lost entries, data, revenue, profits, or opportunities arising from use of or inability to use Calo. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Termination and changes

You may stop using Calo at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect Calo, users, third parties, or our legal rights. We may update these Terms when Calo or applicable legal requirements change and will post the revised version here.
