ResetSite Privacy Policy
Learn how ResetSite handles the active website domain, browser permissions, site-data reset actions, diagnostics, and support messages.
Effective date: August 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ResetSite (“ResetSite,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a browser extension developed by Superlike, handles information when you use the extension or contact us.
Information used to provide a reset
ResetSite identifies the domain of the website in your active tab so it can show you which site will be reset. When you confirm the action, it uses browser capabilities to clear saved data associated with that website and reload the page.
Browser permissions
ResetSite may request access to the active tab, website domains, browsing data, cookies, or storage only as needed to perform the reset you initiate. Your browser controls these permissions, and disabling required access may prevent the extension from working.
Other websites remain outside the action
ResetSite is designed to target the current website rather than clear saved data across your browser. A reset may sign you out of the selected website or remove preferences and locally saved state associated with it.
Information you send to us
If you contact us, we may receive your email address, message, and any technical details or attachments you voluntarily provide. We use this information to respond, investigate issues, and improve ResetSite.
Diagnostics
ResetSite may receive limited technical information such as extension version, browser version, operating-system version, crash reports, and performance data. Where required, diagnostics are handled according to your browser choices.
Use and sharing of information
We use information only to provide and maintain ResetSite, complete actions you request, respond to support inquiries, protect the extension, and comply with applicable law. We do not sell your personal information. Limited information may be shared with service providers under appropriate confidentiality obligations or when required by law.
Retention and choices
We retain support communications and technical records only as long as reasonably necessary. You can manage ResetSite permissions or remove the extension through your browser. Depending on your location, you may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as ResetSite develops or legal requirements change. The revised version will appear here with an updated effective date.
